♡ The Venga Bus is been and well gone…

The other night Lauren, Michelle & I went to see the Vengaboys.
Yes, you read that right.
Obviously when we heard that they were coming we got a head rush of nostalgia and knew that tickets would have to be purchased immediately.  The night itself started with vodka drinking at Lauren & Michelle’s friend Will’s house listening to Aqua, Five, N*Sync; ironically, everything but the Vengaboys.  This was also when we discovered that Aqua have a new album coming out, something I am inappropriately excited for.  We arrived at the club at 9 o’clock expecting that the first act would be finished and we would be able to see the Vengaboys straight away.  Ha ha ha ha ha ha yeah right.  The cover band didn’t come on until after about an hour of awesome 90’s pop music (which was excellent).  This was okay though, because they turned out to be the best pop-punk Spice Girls cover band I have ever heard.  They were also highly attractive and mostly naked.  Finally, the Venga Bus arrived and the highly bedazzled and incredibly camp Vengaboys cam out.  They played all five of their songs, complete with perfect 90’s dance routines.  However, after standing all night in 12 inch heels and being air-humped by a shit faced Will, we decided to leave before the encore.  
We were in bed watching Easy A by 12:30.

The main lesson here, for me at least, is that I can safely say that I have now gotten everything that was ever to be had from the Vengaboys and their existence.
